Description
Forgiving sweet spot and extended reach in Selkirk’s newest wide-body design.
The Selkirk Labs Project 008 Maxima 16mm is built for players who want a wider face, a larger sweet spot, and the comfort of an elongated handle for two-handed backhands. This shape offers a generous hitting surface while still delivering the balance and reach needed for full-court play. The wide-body format helps reduce mishits, giving you greater confidence on fast-paced volleys and softer touch shots.
At its core, the Project 008 Maxima features Selkirk’s advanced 16mm PureFoam, a high-density foam designed to resist breakdown and deliver a soft, stable feel. Combined with thermoformed construction and an injected foam perimeter, this paddle maintains consistent feedback across the face and enhances edge-to-edge performance. Whether you're blocking, dinking, or hitting smooth topspin, you’ll notice greater control without giving up power.
The paddle’s T700 Raw Carbon Fiber surface adds impressive spin potential and a connected feel on contact. With a handle length of 5.75 inches, the Maxima shape gives two-handed players the space and leverage they need, especially during counters and quick resets. This paddle is ideal for players who want versatility, forgiveness, and spin in one pro-level package.
