Designed with an extended heel and a generous wide fit, the SFX 4 offers a roomier forefoot that accommodates a broader range of foot shapes — while still delivering the softness, cushioning, and stability every hard-fought point requires. A padded tongue and lightweight, breathable upper wrap the foot in comfort through long matches and extended practice sessions, whether you're grinding through a three-setter or logging hours on the practice court.
The standout innovation is Extra Cush — a cushioning technology developed and validated with Human Fab, Babolat's sports performance research partner. The heel extension and rocker geometry maintain a consistent thickness of EVA foam under the heel, delivering maximum, progressive shock absorption regardless of your angle of attack. Independent testing confirmed it delivers more cushioning than the previous generation — a genuine step forward in comfort.
Security matches the comfort: a rocker structure holds the foot firmly in place, while three midfoot straps wrap around for lateral support and stability during hard direction changes. The forefoot sits in a supportive "bucket" design, giving you the confidence to stop and cut sharply without your foot shifting inside the shoe. A PRO Shield+ heavy-duty molded rubber guard protects the inner forefoot and toes for enhanced upper durability.
Underfoot, the OrthoLite® insole is the thickest in Babolat's entire range — 60% thicker than the Propulse Fury 3 — and molded to the shape of the foot using 20% recycled foam from production trimmings.
